I considered starting a blog for a long time. I feel that while I love being a stay at home mom, I need an outlet! An outlet for my creativity, an outlet to share my life with friends and family, and a way to connect with others who, like myself, enjoy putting some shimmer into their every day lives. What I have come to find as a woman is that WE ARE AMAZING, but we don't always give ourselves enough credit. As mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, multi-tasker extraordinaires, there isn't much we can't do when we have the support and encouragement of each other. I hope this blog serves as such inspiration for other women.

 I start with pictures because, if you follow this blog... you'll be hearing a lot about these 4 very important people. This is my super sweet hubby, Jeff. (Isn't he handsome!?) We've been married for over 6 years and there's no one I'd rather share my crazy life with. Together we have been blessed with....

 Our little lovies Cole (5), Katie (3) and... our most recent addition, Ben (below), born in late January 2012. Being a Momma to 3 beautiful babies is the BEST JOB EVER!!!

Jeff and I met while working high school jobs, but didn't date until into our college/military careers. Both Jeff and I are natives of Michigan, but moved to North Carolina when we got married in 2005. Jeff was stationed there at Fort Bragg where he served in the US Army with the 82nd Airborne Division until 2010 when he got out of the military. We now reside in Northern Virginia. While we miss our home state of Michigan, our family is definitely enjoying the south. We relish the long days of summer, the sweet, southern hospitality, and the amazing friends we've made along the way. 

I'm a girly girl! Anyone who knows me well would tell you I'm just a little fussy. I thoroughly enjoy all the simple things about being a girl, and like to bring a sprinkle of class and sparkle to my every day life. I love to cook and bake and entertain, a passion inherited from not just my beautiful mother, grandmother, and aunts, but also my mother in-law and lovely friends. I enjoy making things pretty... be it my home, a party, a photo, or an outfit, I love bringing out or creating classic beauty in it. Who doesn't want to bring a little extra joy to every day things?

I am a Christian. While I love and talk about everything under the sun on this blog, I know that my passion, creativity, and worth come from Christ. 

Silly things??

I can't drink from a cup without a straw without dribbling. 

I could eat ice cream after every meal.

I have a cutie toy poodle named Maya.

I love me some high heels. Wish they were practical for running after 3 kiddos!
